We bring you news of the first two recordings in the Autumn series of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. The third is not yet confirmed but looks like it will take place in Yorkshire in late December.
In response to the many emails we received last series from people unable to book tickets, this series we have deliberately selected theatres with a large seating capacity. So we hope that as many of you as possible are able to get tickets.
Recording One:
This will take place at the London Palladium on Sunday 2nd October 2005. Tickets are priced at £12.50, £10.50, £8.50 and £6.50. The theatre normally adds a booking fee to the price of the tickets, however we have arranged to absorb this cost for you. To book tickets, you should either call this telephone booking number: 020 7494 5438 (open 24 hours a day) or try booking online at www.seetickets.com
The recording starts at 7.30pm and the doors open at 6.45pm. We should be finished by 10.30pm. The special guest for this show is Jeremy Hardy.
Recording Two:
This will take place at the Brighton Dome as part of the Brighton Comedy Festival on Tuesday 18th October 2005. Tickets are priced at £10 and £8. To book tickets you need to contact the Brighton Dome Box Office on 01273 709709 (open Monday-Saturday, 10am-6pm). The ticket sales website address is www.brighton-dome.org.uk/events/events.asp
The recording starts at 7.30pm and the doors open at 7pm. We should be finished by 10.30pm. No special guest has yet been confirmed for this recording.
And that's about it for now. We'll try to get details to you of the Yorkshire recording as soon as we can.
Best wishes

Re: Too good to keep to myself!
Mon, September 26, 2005 - 2:21 AMDear I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue mailing list member,
We bring you news of the final recording in the forthcoming series of "I'm
Sorry I Haven't A Clue".
This will take place at the Harrogate International Centre on Sunday 18th
December. The doors will open at 7pm and the recording will start at
7.30pm. The recording should be finished by 10.30pm. We record two
editions of the programme with an interval in between recordings.
The tickets are priced at £10.50, £8.50 and £6.50 and available from the
Harrogate International Centre's box office on 01423 537230. The box
office is open Mondays to Saturdays from 9.30am to 5.30pm. They charge a £1
booking fee.
The show will take place in the International Centre's auditorium, a 1700
seat venue, however tickets are likely to sell very quickly so you really do
need to book early to avoid disappointment.
If this is the first mail out you have received from us, you should know
that we advertise recordings for the Spring and Autumn series of 'I'm Sorry
I Haven't A Clue'. The Spring series (three double recordings) usually
records in April, May and June, and the Autumn series (also three double
recordings) records in October, November and December. Precisely when the
recordings take place depends on artist and venue availability.
We might also notify you of events related to 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue',
for example recordings of 'Hamish & Dougal', featuring Barry Cryer, Graeme
Garden, Jeremy Hardy and Alison Steadman. There is likely to be a new
series of this in 2006.
For your diaries - the Autumn series of 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' will
broadcast from Monday 14th November at 1800 on BBC Radio 4, with a repeat
the following Sunday at 12.02. There will also be a documentary (of sorts)
broadcast on Christmas Eve at 1102 entitled 'In Search of Mornington
Crescent'.
That's about it for now.
With best wishes
